This is the sequel to Child of Woe, Dark hunters where we meet up again with Brent Havin with his trusty side kick Gus and his group of Dark Hunters in the fight against everything that is evil , be it man or monster and are forced to make a deal with enemies that they might not be able to trust in order to fight a losing battle .I must admit I've grown to love the characters in this series especially Darby and Fargus , man and Centaur , who would of thought it ! A friendship that developed over years and is a friendship that would last a lifetime . The friendship between Brent and Zegrit is more of a kinship and again would last a lifetime . Both friendships shouldn't work but surprisingly do .
Simon amazes me more and more with each book I read of his and as this series is definitely not over I really can't wait to see what happens next . I just hope we don't have to wait too long for the next instalment to this excellent series . Well done Simon , outstanding once again .
